Healthy and quick breakfast option

Oats are currently “in” in India and, given their health advantages, make a perfect alternative to many Indian grains and cereals. Fiber and minerals like manganese, copper, biotin, phosphorus, magnesium, zinc, and others are abundant in oats. Additionally, they reduce cholesterol, prolong satiety, and are a wonderful source of antioxidants. Here are some quick-fix oats recipes you can make in under 30 minutes, though, if you are tired of the same old oats recipes. And we promise you that they are all delicious!

Oats Upma

2 cups of cooked rolled oats are used in an upma.

– Salt, turmeric, and chopped red peppers

– Finely sliced bell peppers, green peas, onions, and carrots.

curries leaves

(Urad Dal)

– Oil

Seeds for mustard

– Lemon

– Coconut, grated

Oats, turmeric, a little salt, and green chilies are added to a pan that has approximately 1 teaspoon of oil in it. Till the oats turn light brown, roast for 4-5 minutes. The oats should be given some water, covered, and cooking time of 5-7 minutes, or until they become soft. Meanwhile, add some additional oil and mustard seeds to a different pan. Add the urad dal once the seeds start to pop, and roast until the dal turns golden brown. When the onions become translucent, add few curry leaves, salt, and turmeric. Cook the chopped carrots and peas for approximately a minute, or until the carrots start to soften. When you feel your oats are almost done, add salt, sprinkle bell peppers on top, and then add this veggie mixture to the oats. Cook for approximately a minute.
