Benefits of Yoga You didn’t know!

Yoga is a multifaceted ancient practice that encompasses far more than being able to touch your toes or splits. Yoga is for EVERYBODY and is accessible to everyone. You don’t have to look a certain way or be a certain person to do it.

IT’S NOT JUST ABOUT STRENGTHENING YOUR BODY.

While yoga does improve flexibility, especially when practiced on a regular basis, it also has a slew of other advantages, including:

stimulates the rest and digest system, which decreases tension and the fight or flight reaction (parasympathetic system).

It improves strength by allowing you to do weight-bearing activities – Bone and muscular health are greatly aided by this supplement.

IT’S NOT JUST ABOUT CREATING NICE SHAPES ON A MAT.

Much of what you see on social media and in the press are yogis in seemingly impossible poses. The physical postures (or Asana) are, however, only a minor part of what yoga is all about. Yoga practice includes meditation, pranayama (breathing methods), and living a life of meaning, intention, and kindness. People are often drawn to yoga for the physical advantages and postures, but the other elements gradually infiltrate into daily life, helping you feel happier, healthier, and calmer in both body and mind.

IT’S NOT A FAD.

‍Yoga is a collection of physical, mental, and spiritual activities that originated in India thousands of years ago. It has existed for a very long period – some say over 10,000 years. Some believe that yoga’s origins can be traced back to pre-Vedic Indian traditions. It is now a way of life for millions of people all around the world. There’s something special about the practise that draws people in and keeps them coming back to the mat again and again.

TO SEE THE BENEFITS, YOU DO NOT NEED TO PRACTICE YOGA FOR HOURS DAILY.

Yoga for an hour or more on a regular basis may not always be practical in today’s world. However, there is evidence that exercising for only 10 to 30 minutes is still beneficial. Don’t let time restrictions hold you back or become an impediment!

EVERYONE CAN USE IT. Yoga is for everyone and may be done by anyone. Yoga is a Sanskrit word that means “to yoke or bind,” and is typically translated as “unity.” Yoga is a non-exclusive, all-encompassing route to enlightenment or liberation. The physical postures, or asanas, are meant to cleanse the body while also providing strength and stamina. It’s fine if you can’t touch your toes! You’re still in the forward fold position.

We hope this solves your problems!
